Our Story
Puppy Rescue is a registered charity located in Albox, Spain. Since 2005, we've been dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming puppies in need.
In 2008, we opened our charity shop in Albox to help raise much-needed funds to support our mission. Located at Calle Málaga 4, the shop plays a vital role in sustaining our rescue operations.
We focus on rescuing puppies from the Valle de Almanzora area who are in desperate need or at risk. Our team works tirelessly to provide adequate food, shelter, love, socialization, and veterinary care to nurture healthy, happy puppies ready for rehoming.

Our Mission
Puppy Rescue in Spain aims to provide a safe and efficient means of caring for and rehoming abandoned, abused, and/or neglected puppies.
We rescue and care for puppies from the Valle de Almanzora area that we have found to be in desperate need or at risk.
We seek safe, loving forever homes for each and every puppy in our care. New puppies in need of loving homes are being brought in all the time. If you are interested in adopting a pup, get in touch with us. ❤️
Volunteers & Fostering
With pups being found abandoned almost daily, we need all the help and support we can get. Most importantly, we need more foster families on board.
We often have pups who are very young and need bottle feeding, as well as pups who are old enough to be adopted, waiting for their forever homes. Usually there is also a bunch of 'older' pups, waiting to travel abroad, and we need some families who would enjoy giving those pups a temporary foster home until it's their time to board the happy bus.
We are looking for families that are interested in helping us by fostering one, two, or three puppies while they are in Puppy Rescue's care. It would be a great help for the pups, getting them ready for their forever homes, but also for the rescue, as it would make space for new pups in need to be taken in.
We'd be providing you with everything you need (puppy milk or food, vet care etc) while you provide the pups with love, fun and important socialisation, while they are growing and getting ready for adoption. In return you'll get lots of puppy love (quite a good deal, isn't it).
Fostering is a lot of fun and usually just as rewarding for the foster home as it is for the pups. Also it is a great way to enjoy the company of a puppy and get those amazing puppy cuddles, without the lifetime commitment.

About Adoption
Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome puppies in need. Finding the right home for each puppy is a very important part of our mission.
All potential adoptees are given a home-check and interview to help make sure the destination is safe and suitable for a new puppy.
All puppies are vaccinated and, as per European Union regulations, checked by a vet prior to travel.
All of our foster families are working hard on their puppies being happily around people and other dogs, and we also try to bring the pups around children and cats, while in our care. This helps a lot with their socialisation and the pups settling in nicely at their forever homes.
Our efforts help to reduce difficult transitions for puppies and the adopting individuals or families, which makes it easier to match puppies to their true forever homes.
